Woolpower Crewneck Protection Lite

The garment is conforming to specific EN standards, such as Flame Resistance, Antistatic or Electric Arc. It’s designed to be a base layer, suitable all year around and the Merino wool and Lenzing FR combination provides great comfort. All seams are flat locked and designed to prevent chafing. The back is slightly longer to prevent gaps.

Woolpower Protection LITE has been created for professional use in challenging environments. It is certified in accordance with specific EN standards for flame protection, antistatic and electric arc protection. Wool itself is flame retardant and doesn’t melt, which prevents serious burn injuries. For maximum protection we recommend that you use a complete undergarment set together with other certified outer layers.

Woolpower Protection LITE is our thinnest fabric in the Protection range. It is a cool and comfortable material that is best worn nearest the body. Protection LITE can be used year-round and keeps you warm when it’s cold out and cool when it’s warm. The combination of merino wool and Lenzig FR fibre means Crewneck Protection LITE feels comfortable against your body. The back is slightly longer to avoid gaps.

Wool is nature’s own functional fabric and so far, no man-made fibres have been able to replicate all the unique qualities of wool. It keeps you dry if you get wet as the wool can absorb up to 30 per cent of its own weight in moisture without even feeling damp. But if you really get wet, the top keeps you warm anyway. It’s because of a chemical process within the wool called absorption heat. Woolpower also has a self-cleaning effect and doesn’t smell bad if you’ve been sweating.
